Cougars Upset No.5 St. Ambrose
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. — The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's lacrosse team (7-0) upset No.5 St. Ambrose University (1-4) on Saturday, March 4 at CH4 Stadium.
MVNU is now 2-0 in the Heart of America Conference after a complete team effort. The game was a close battle in the first half with MVNU leading 5-3 at the break. In the second half, MVNU outscored St. Ambrose by three goals, propelling it to the big upset victory. Senior goalkeeper Joshua Hageman was a brick wall, compiling 22 saves in the game for MVNU.
