The Cougars got off to a big start in its first Heart of America conference game in program history by scoring 12 goals in the first half. Later in the game, mother nature let her presence felt as lighting struck, causing a 30-minute delay in the game. After delay, the Cougars kept their foot on the gas, scoring eight more goals. MVNU would go on to win by a score of 20-1.
