Cougars Advance to 5-0 for First Time, Townsend Surpasses 100 Career Points

TIFFIN, Ohio. — The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's lacrosse team (5-0) won at Heidelberg University on Tuesday, February 21 at Hoernemann Stadium.

The Cougars are now 5-0 for the first time in program history. MVNU dominated, outscoring the hosts 12-2. Senior midfielder Brett Townsend surpassed 100 points at MVNU with his five assists on the night.
