Coach Farr is very excited with the new additions. "I am very happy with this well-rounded group of guys and the talents that each bring to our lacrosse program and MVNU," stated Farr. "We felt that we brought in the kind of fire power that will help our offense to hit another gear this season, as well as defensive ability that will solidify a unit that played tough last season."
This year's class features players from Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland and Kentucky, with over a quarter of the roster from outside the state of Ohio. With these additions, the team now includes players from seven different states.
"Whenever we can bring in guys from other states, we feel that adds to our players' overall experience," said Farr. "We love Ohio lacrosse and it is a main pipeline for us, but having teammates from all over the country and from all walks of life helps us to build a respect for other people, their ways of thinking, and the lives they lead."
In addition to on field ability, the men's lacrosse recruiting class also gets it done in the classroom. "What we are also very excited about is that this class includes seven student-athletes who averaged above a 3.5 GPA and three that averaged above a 4.0," stated Farr. "This class is very talented… athletically and academically."
