Men’s Golf Closes Regular Season
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's golf team competed in the Sagamore Shootout at the Sagamore Golf Club on Monday, April 20.
MVNU's A team placed sixth out of 12 teams in the shootout with a +53 through two rounds. The B team also competed and placed 12th with a mark of +78.
Hunter Smith led the way for MVNU with a top 10 finish, The senior placed ninth overall with a +5 through two rounds. Will Streby placed 19th overall for the Cougars with a +9. Tyler Goetzman placed 35th overall with a score of +17 to round out the top three for MVNU in the tournament.
What's Next
MVNU will play in the Crossroads League Championship on April 27-28 at the Coyote Crossing Golf Club in West Lafayette, Indiana.
