MVNU Golf Competes at Ohio Christian University Fall Invitational
CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's golf teams competed in the Ohio Christian University Fall Invitational on September 16-17 in Circleville, Ohio.
The women of MVNU took third place out of five teams at the invitational. As a team, the Lady Cougars shot a total of 689 (364, 325) through 18 holes. Mary Weisburn had an outstanding performance on the green as she came in third overall, shooting a total of 161 in the two-day event.
The men's golf team also had a quality performance, placing fifth overall out of the 13-team invitational, collectively shooting a 611 (300, 311) score. Isaac Gessner placed 13th with a score of 147, and teammate Caleb Dettmer placed 19th having shot 151 for the Cougars.

MVNU will be back on the road as it heads to Peru, Indiana to compete in the Rumble at the Rock, hosted by Bethel University on Friday, September 20-21.
