Golf Takes on Midway Eagle Invitational

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University golf teams competed at the Midway Eagle Invitational on April 8-9, hosted by Midway University.
The men's team placed 11th out of 15 teams with a score of 552 (317, 235) through two rounds. Dylan Errington led MVNU, tying for 29th with a score of 152 (78,74). Isaac Vance (T53rd) and Caleb Dettmer (T60th) rounded out the top three for MVNU with scores of 159 and 162, respectively.
The women's team placed seventh out of eight teams at the invite with a score of 585 (394, 391). Mary Weisburn tied for 20th with a total of 175 (93, 82). Jaya Booth placed 38th overall, completing the two rounds with a score of 222 (113, 109).
What's Next:
MVNU next competes on April 15 in an invitational hosted by Taylor University at the Ackerman-Allen Golf Club in West Lafayette, Indiana.
