Golf Competes at Tiger Spring Invitational
ST. ANNE, Ill. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men’s and women’s golf teams participated in the Tiger Spring Invitational, hosted by Olivet Nazarene University on March 29-30.
ST. ANNE, Ill. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's golf teams participated in the Tiger Spring Invitational, hosted by Olivet Nazarene University on March 29-30.
Both teams performed well on Easter weekend at Olivet. The women placed fourth out of seven teams with a score of 774 (391, 383) and the men finished fifth out of eight teams with a tally of 630 (316, 314) at the invite.
Dylan Errington led the way for MVNU golf as he placed fourth overall with a score of 150 through two rounds. Errington shot a 77 in round one, followed by a 73 in the final round of play.
For the women, Mary Weisburn tied for fifth with a score of 171 (81, 90) in her two rounds of work.
What's Next:
MVNU will head to Lexington, Kentucky for an invitational hosted by Midway University on April 8-9.
