Men’s Golf Ready to Begin Fall Season
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's golf team will begin its fall season on September 1-2 at the Tannenhauf Golf Club in Alliance, Ohio. Malone University is the host of the Invitational.
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's golf team will begin its fall season on September 1-2 at the Tannenhauf Golf Club in Alliance, Ohio. Malone University is the host of the Invitational.
Head Coach Mike King will have a mix of veteran experience to rely on this season as Michael Hahn (SR), Dylan Errington (SR), Thad Weaver (SR), Skyler Wiggand (SR), and Hunter Smith (JR) all return. Caleb Dettmer (SO) and Zane Shultz (SO) return as well for MVNU.
King also will have eight new faces joining the team. Isaac Gessner, Chandler Gribble, Michael Hardesty, Nate Morris, Ian Muka, Jaden Schlabach, Nik Tomblin, and Isaac Vance all will add talent and improved depth to the roster.
MVNU will look to begin its season strong on Friday and Saturday. Each day of competition begins at 10:30am.
