Men’s Golf Competes at Showdown at Legends in Myrtle Beach
MYRTLE BEACH, SC. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men’s golf team competed at the Showdown at Legends on Monday, February 27 and Tuesday, February 28 at the Legends Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The team finished 11th out of 11 teams. The Cougars had a team score of 999. Lindsey Wilson College won the tournament with a score of 879.
MVNU Scores
Brock Dettmer (80, 79, 78) tied for 37th overall with a total score of 237.
Dylan Errington (81, 84, 81) finished 54th with a score of 246.
Riley Wilcoxon (86, 89, 83) placed 68th with an overall score of 258.
Thad Weaver (91, 90, 84) placed 71st with a tally of 265.
Michael Hahn (84, 92, 0) placed 76th with a score of 176 across two rounds.
Skyler Wiggand (93, 93, 94) placed 73rd overall with a score of 280.
What's Next
The Cougars will next compete in the first day of the Purgatory Intercollegiate in Noblesville, Indiana on Friday, March 31. Tee time is 11:00am.
