MVNU Bowling Participates in Final OBC Tournament of Season
COLUMBUS, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's bowling team competed in the Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament 4 at the Columbus Square Bowling Palace on Saturday, February 7.
MVNU's men placed 11th of 17 teams with a total of 6071 pins, and the women placed 8th of 12 with 5368 pins on the day.
The tournament was a 32-baker OBC 4. There was multiple tenth frame punchouts. Josiah Casler accomplished one in game 20 of the day for the men. Nick McQuire also punched out in games two, seven, 21 and 26. For the women, Riley Rine accomplished the feat in game 10.
MVNU also saw single pin perfection as Benjamin Brubaker and Brenna McTighe went 14-of-14 on single pin conversions.
MVNU also had five members of the men's team to achieve a clean game after the set of 32 bakers. Kobe Green, Christian Phillips, Brubaker, Jacob Burre, and Casler each accomplished a clean game.

MVNU bowling returns to the lanes on February 14-15 in the Hoosier Classic at the Western Bowl in Indianapolis, Indiana.
