Cougar Bowling Competes at Crossroads League Bowling Tournament 3

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.  The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's bowling teams competed at the Crossroads League Bowling Tournament 3 at Royal Pin Western in Indianapolis, Indiana on Wednesday, February 4. 

The men's team earned a sixth-place finish out of eight teams, posting a combined total of 5,085 pins. Josiah Casler led the way for the Cougars with a strong performance, finishing 29th overall with an individual score of 606 pins. Close behind him was Benjamin Brubaker, who secured 30th place after knocking down 604 pins. Nick McGuire rounded out the top three in scoring for the Cougars, placing 47th overall with a total of 508 pins. 

On the women's side, the Cougars also finished sixth out of eight teams with an overall total of 4,610 pins. Abigail Larkin paced the team, earning a 17th-place finish with 539 pins. Olivia Strait followed closely, tying Larkin's score with 539 pins to claim 18th place overall. Brenna McTighe added a solid showing of her own, finishing 25th with an individual total of 518 pins. 

 

What's Next 

The men's and women's bowling teams will be competing at the Ohio Bowling Conference 4 in Columbus, Ohio at Columbus Square Bowling on Saturday, February 7.
