Casler Rolls a Baker 300 in Crossroads League Tournament 4
JACKSON, Mich. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's bowling teams competed in the Crossroads League Bowling Tournament 4 in Jackson, Michigan on Friday, January 30.
The men's team finished in fifth place out of the eight teams with a 4982. The women's team finished sixth place out of the seven teams with a 4346.
Josiah Casler led the MVNU men's team. Casler placed 17th out of 105 competitors with an individual total of 590 and rolled 13 strikes in a row, making a Baker 300. Kobe Green placed 19th with a score of 589, and Christian Phillips placed 22nd with a total of 578 pins.
Leading on the women's side, Abi Larkin placed 27th out of 81 with an individual total of 516 pins. Brenna McTighe placed 31st with a score of 509. Riley Rine placed 42nd with a total of 480 pins.
What's Next
The MVNU bowling team will be competing next in the Crossroads League Bowling Tournament 3, which has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 4 at the Royal Pin Western in Indianapolis, Indiana.
