MVNU Bowling Competes at OBC 3
COLUMBUS, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's bowling teams competed in the Ohio Bowling Conference 3 at the Columbus Square Bowling Palace on Thursday, January 22.
The men placed eighth out of 20 teams with 5108 total pins and the women's team placed fifth overall out of 12 teams with a total of 4667 pins.
Kobe Green led the men with a 19th place finish and a total of 631 pins. Benjamin Brubaker placed 31st overall with a score of 597, while Josiah Casler rounded out MVNU's top three with a 38th place finish and 578 total pins.
For the women, Olivia Strait finished 10th with 575 pins and Brenna McTighe finished in 15th with a total of 553. Abigail Larkin rounded out the top three for the Lady Cougars, placing 37th with a score of 467.
What's Next
Due to incoming weather and travel concerns, MVNU will not be competing in the Crossroads League Bowling Tournament 3 on Saturday, January 24. MVNU will now next compete in the Ohio Bowling Conference 4 on February 7.
