Men’s Basketball Has Four CoSIDA All-District Recipients

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Four members of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's basketball team earned a spot on the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, as announced by the CSC headquarters on Tuesday, March 24.

Trent Koning (RS-SR/G), Peyton Heiss (SO/G), Devin Dreier (JR/F), and Bede Lori (RS-SO/G) each earned a spot on the team after great years on the court and in the classroom.

Each school gets up to four nominations. The CSC Academic All-District distinction is designed to recognize student-athletes for outstanding achievements in the classroom and on the field. To receive the honor, an athlete must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale, must have reached sophomore status academically, and must have met the playing time criteria of 90-percent games played or 66-percent games started.
