Granville Named Crossroads League MBB Defensive Player of the Week
JACKSON, Mich. – Kieran Granville earned the Crossroads League Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, February 9. The honor is the first of his young career.
Granville, a freshman center, played a key role in MVNU's win against Marian and upset win against No. 1 Grace. Leading the defensive efforts in both games, Granville came away with a total of 23 rebounds and four blocks. Along with Granville's strong defensive performance, he scored 11 points in the 73-64 win over Marian and added five points in the 79-66 upset win over No. 1 Grace.
MVNU will travel to Indiana Wesleyan University on Wednesday, February 11 at 7:00 p.m.
