Men’s Basketball has Three Earn Crossroads League Honors

JACKSON, Mich. —  The Crossroads League announced its postseason award winners and honors on Wednesday, March 5 and the Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's basketball team had three players receive an honor.

Bailey Conrad earned All-Crossroads League Second Team honors, ranking fifth in the conference in points per game with 18.7 while shooting 45.9% from the field. Conrad also shot 38.2% from deep. Defensively, he was sixth in the league in blocks, averaging 1.1 per game.

Trent Koning, a redshirt junior from Cedarville, Ohio, earned All-Crossroads League Honorable Mention. He shot 41.3% from the field and 35.5% from beyond the arc on his way to 15.1 points per game. Defensively, he averaged 1.7 steals per game, ranking second in the league.

Milton Gage earned All-Crossroads League Honorable Mention after averaging 8.0 points per game on 41.0% shooting from the field and 36% shooting from three. The senior also contributed 4.3 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game, ranking fourth in the Crossroads League in assists. Defensively, Gage averaged 1.5 steals per game, placing him third in the league in that category.
