Men’s Basketball has Four Make CoSIDA Academic All-District Team
GREENWOOD, Ind. – After a strong season in the classroom, the Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's basketball team had four student-athletes named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team for the NAIA.
Kade Ruegsegger (SR), Beau Ludwick (SR), Bailey Conrad (SR), and Trent Koning (SO) each earned a spot on the team. To be eligible for the nomination, each student-athlete must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and must have participated in at least 50% of the team's games.
The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on April 17.
