"I am honored to be stepping into the role of head cheer coach at Mount Vernon Nazarene University," said Squires. "Cheerleading has been a part of my life since elementary school continuing through high school and into college, and it has shaped so much of who I am today. I also had the privilege of serving as an assistant coach at the middle school level, which deepened my passion for developing athletes not just in skills, but in their confidence and teamwork. I am so excited to bring my experience and enthusiasm to Mount Vernon Nazarene University and to help build a program that represents excellence, spirit, and community."
