Lester and Nichols Earn All-League Honors
JACKSON, Mich. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University baseball team had two members who received Crossroads League All-League Honors on Wednesday, May 6.
Brady Lester, a junior outfielder from Fredericktown, Ohio, earned Second Team All-Crossroads League Honors. Lester had a batting average of .337, had ten homeruns, 60 hits, 49 RBI, and 17 stolen bases. In the field, Lester had a fielding percentage of .991, 104 putouts, and four assists.
Brennan Nichols, a junior catcher, earned Second Team All-Crossroads League Honors. Nichols also earned golden glove. Nichols finished this season with a .992 fielding percentage, 324 putouts, and 38 assists. The Plain City, Ohio native caught 15 runners stealing. Offensively, Nichols had 34 hits, four homeruns, 23 RBI, two stolen bases, and a batting average of .258.
