Hurlburt Named Crossroads League Pitcher of the Week

JACKSON, Mich. – For the first time this season and the second time in his career, Jared Hurlburt of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University baseball team has been named as the Crossroads League Pitcher of the Week on Monday, March 9.

Hurlburt tossed a gem in MVNU's 6-2 win over Saint Francis on Friday, March 6. The senior from Sykesville, Maryland pitched six shutout innings. The righty allowed just four hits and had nine strikeouts.

MVNU baseball will have its first home series of the season on March 13-14 at Cougar Field against Grace College.
