40 Student-Athletes Make Crossroads League All-Academic Team for Spring Semester

JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League announced its list of student-athletes that earned a spot on the All-Academic Team for the spring semester.

Mount Vernon Nazarene University saw 40 of its own earn the honor.

In order to be eligible for Academic All-Crossroads League recognition, a student-athlete must have reached junior status during the semester in which they competed and must possess a cumulative grade-point average above 3.50. Individuals must have also been on their team's roster for the entire season and must be nominated by their respective institution. Below are MVNU's award winners by sport.

Baseball: Kaid Carpenter, Jared Hurlburt, Brady Lester, Ryan Willoughby

Men's Basketball: Grant Burkholder, Devin Dreier, Bede Lori, Drew Koning, Trent Koning

Women's Basketball: Camryn Cummings, Jaelle Keller, Kylie Leibacher, Angela Roshak, Lily Shepherd, Anna Swisshelm

Men's Bowling: Jacob Burre, Kobe Green

Women's Bowling: Abigal Larkin

Men's Golf: Isaac Gessner, Logan Thompson, Hunter Smith, Isaac Vance

Women's Golf: Mary Weisburn

Men's Tennis: Noah Hill

Women's Tennis: Deah Bresson

Softball: Shanda Melick, Avery Miller, Brooklyn Krum
