MVNU Athletics Hosts OHSAA District Championships

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – Mount Vernon Nazarene University Athletics had the honor of hosting the OHSAA Boys and Girls Basketball District Championships in Ariel Arena on February 27-28, and March 5-7.

MVNU hosted five days of basketball action and 10 total games. Over the course of the days, MVNU was able to showcase its campus and allow thousands of parents, fans, and student-athletes to see Ariel Arena.

The teams and fans were given excellent game experience, which will hopefully entice them to want to be a part of the MVNU community in the future.

"It was a privilege to host several girls and boys OHSAA District Finals at MVNU," said Director of Athletics, Chip Wilson. "Tremendous support from these communities that brought great crowds. We are thankful to have had this opportunity."
