MVNU Has 41 NAIA Fall Sports Daktronics Scholar-Athletes
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) proudly announces the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for fall sports. This honor recognizes student-athletes in each of the fall sports who have excelled academically including football, men's cross country, men's soccer, women's cross country, women's soccer and women's volleyball.
To qualify as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year. This year, the list features an impressive number of student-athletes who have met these rigorous standards. Overall, MVNU had 41 athletes earn the honor.
Men's Cross Country: Alex Hayden, Mason Summers, Owen Rair, Evan Hodkinson, Mason Hendrickson.
Men's Soccer: Caio Carrara, Reid Vance, Liam Strong, Diego Shaw, Brayden Primmer, Micah Post, Sam Hershey, Tiago DeJesus, Zack Bowser.
Women's Cross Country: Raelyn Barrett, Macy Thorne, Ariana Mast, Louisa Hallabrin, Lauren Garber, Ellyn Coe.
Women's Soccer: Anastacia Viau, Olivia Simpson, Ryleigh Robinson, Meghan Moser, Hannah Miller, Alexis Hoffman, Madison Turner, Avery Erslan, Sydney Errington, Addison Crace, Brooklyn Bryant, Cora Bishop.
Women's Volleyball: Reagan Nuss, Jaelyn Tang, Lyssi Snouffer, Abbey Niemesh, Eliana Morgan, Lilla Nicholas, Ashley Merrick, Libby Evanshine, Emma Thamarus.
